Armed and Potty Training

No need for a watch dog, Jackson has it covered!
He also has an artistic side!

I have been trying for several weeks to potty train Jackson and we are still working on it. As long as he is in the buff he will sit on the Potty without any accidents. But as soon as he has underwear or a pull up covering him he does his business where ever he sees fit.

Lions and Tigers and Dinosaurs

For Hays being a pretty small town they really have a neat museum. We went there today which was perfect because they just opened up a new dinosaur exhibit. The boys love dinosaurs but there is a T-rex that moves then you walk by and the boys get a bit freaked out. Jackson kept his ears covered most of the time cause is roars pretty loud. Dominic wasn't sure if he wanted to get a picture by the T-rex because he was afraid it would come to life!

We took the boys bowling for the first time on Friday. Jackson kept wanting to kick the ball down the lane and he managed to a few times. They looked so cute in their little bowling shoes. I won but only due to the fact that we had the lane with the bumpers;)We had a really great time and the boys did awesome!

We went to the park again this morning and it was so HOT! Jackson had his hat on and when he took it off his hair was soaked. I kept asking if they were ready to go but boys just wanna have fun regardless of the heat.

Wesleys Green Thumb

We were so excited to have a yard that we could start a garden. So thats what we did, we got a late start on it but everything has been growing. It has been Wesleys baby and I know he's proud that everything has sprouted. We have sweet corn, beets ( Wesley claims to like them?!)onions, carrots, cilantro, watermelon,celery and a few other things that I can't remember. We can't wait to be able to actually eat things we have grown ourselves!

A Work in Progress

So I got a blog started but it is still a work in progress. Once I get a hang of this whole blog thing I think it will really come together. I will try to keep the pics as updated as possible.
