A Great Day For The Park

Actually the title for this post doesn't seem right especially if you can see the storm clouds in the pictures. However it wasn't too hot or too cold and the boys had a great time. They have such a hard time being cooped up in the house during winter. The weather here is so crazy one day it's hot and sunny and the next its cold and gloomy. And now we are in tornado season so we will be getting a lot of storms. Don't worry we aren't necessarily in a tornado zone, its just about all the other towns that surround us that are. We look forward to many more nice days to be able to go to the park.

Farm Field Trip

Oh my, I just noticed that boy has his hands down his pants!

Jackson checking out a baby calf

This calf was a day and a half old and was delivered by c- section.
It weighs 120 lbs.

They got to hold cow teeth, which were pretty gross!

Yesterday was the last field trip for Dominic's preschool class. And I have to say it was by far the most smelly one. The kids got to see a newborn calf and they also got to see how the cows are milked. Despite the smell, the heat and Jackson falling in the mud (and yes it was mud) it was a pretty fun time.

We got egged! (late update)

Dominic's signature squatting pose

You just gotta love those boots

The Wednesday before Easter Wesley was needing an idea for Mutual. So I got online and started searching on Sugardoodle. I came acrosss the cutest idea for Easter time. You fill plastic eggs with candy and you hide them in someones yard you leave a note and that says, " You've been egged now go egg someone else." You ring the door bell and take off. The young men had a great time. They "egged" five houses they did a few people from the ward and then a few random houses. We ended up getting "egged" too. The boys had a blast getting an early start on hunting eggs.

Blue Ear wax?

Getting ready for the nurse to flush out the blue!

On Thursday we got to make an unplanned trip to the doctors office because to my surprise Dominic had blue ear wax???? Was this some kind of new disease? Oh no, my Five year old thought it would be a great idea to make play-doh ear plugs. He said he didn't want to listen to the movie that Jackson was listening to. So he shoved play-doh deep into his ears. Luckily we were able to get into the doctors office before the long Easter weekend. They were able to flush out the play-doh and Dominic was able to hear again. The thing that really blows my mind besides the fact of him being five is that just days before we were talking about never sticking stuff up your nose or in your ears. If anything I thought we would be at the doctor getting something removed from Jackson.
